Download and install the add-on

1. Download the TAGGRS PrestaShop Data Layer Add-on

   from the PrestaShop Addons Marketplace.

2. In your PrestaShop admin, go to: Modules → Module Manager.
3. Click Upload a module, select the downloaded ZIP file, and complete the installation.

Open the add-on configuration

1. After installation, locate TAGGRS Data Layer in your modules list.
2. Click Configure.

Configure Google Tag Manager integration

1. In the settings panel, enter your Google Tag Manager web container ID (e.g., GTM-XXXXXXX).
   

   You find the GTM code within your Google Tag Manager web container
   
2. In the subdomain field, enter either:
   • your TAGGRS subdomain, if you want to enable the

     Enhanced Tracking

   • if you want to keep the regular tracking

     www.googletagmanager.com

Select and configure events to track

Enable or disable the following ecommerce events as needed:

view_item_list
view_item
add_to_cart
remove_from_cart
view_cart
begin_checkout
purchase

You can further customize which data layer variables are sent for each event.

Clear cache

If you use caching, clear the cache.
Go to Advanced Settings → Performance → Empty Cache.

Debug and test your setup

Enable Debug Mode in the add-on settings to output the data layer to your browser’s console for inspection.
Open your store in another browser tab and use Google Tag Manager Preview mode to verify that events are firing and data is structured correctly.
