What is the Meta CAPI Gateway by TAGGRS?
‍

The Meta Conversions API Gateway by TAGGRS is a fully managed, secure solution for sending server-side conversion events to Meta—without the need for Google Tag Manager or custom integrations. TAGGRS handles all hosting and infrastructure, so you can focus on optimizing your marketing, not on technical setup.

The benefits

Fast, code-free setup

Activate tracking effortlessly from your TAGGRS dashboard.

Improved data quality

Bypass browser/ad blockers and increase Event Match Quality for more accurate targeting and reporting.

Lower ad costs

Better data enables Meta to optimize your campaigns more efficiently.

Managed hosting

TAGGRS hosts the gateway for your peace of mind.

Access the TAGGRS dashboard

  1. Log in to your TAGGRS account.
  2. Click Add Gateway to start the setup process.

Link your Meta account

  1. Log in with your Facebook account.
  2. Select the Business Portfolio where you want to place the gateway.
  3. Choose an existing Pixel or let Meta automatically generate a new one. The connection is established automatically. No manual API setup required.

Configure Gateway details

  • Gateway name: Enter a recognizable name for your gateway.
  • Hosting location: Select the country where your data will be hosted (TAGGRS uses Google Cloud infrastructure).
  • The gateway is created automatically after configuration.

Note
The hosting of the data is through Google Cloud. This means that it falls under the U.S. Cloud Act, which allows the data to be viewed by U.S. authorities under certain circumstances. If you avoid this, we recommend setting up Server-side Tracking via Google Tag Manager with our regular setting. With this solution, you choose the processing location yourself and it does not fall under the Cloud Act.

Add your subdomain

  1. Add a CNAME record in your DNS hosting to point your chosen subdomain to the TAGGRS gateway.
  2. Ensure your subdomain is configured and propagates correctly for seamless event delivery

Troubleshooting

Gateway not connecting
Check Facebook login and business permissions
Pixel not found
Ensure you have an active Pixel or let Meta create one automatically
DNS/subdomain issues
Confirm CNAME record is correct and has propagated
Data residency concerns
Use GTM-based server-side tracking for custom hosting locations
